Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of MiniCabFinder. Last updated 22 July 2026.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MiniCabFinder (the “Site”). “We”, “us” and “our” refer to Esskay Enterprise Limited, trading as Esskay Cars, which operates the Site. Esskay Enterprise Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 07703565, with its registered office at Hamilton House, 87-89 Bell Street, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 7AN. By using the website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. What our service is
MiniCabFinder is how you get an estimated taxi and private-hire fare and book with us. We trade as Esskay Cars and hold a private hire operator licence issued by Transport for London (licence 761703). We provide your journey directly, with our own drivers and vehicles.
You enter into a contract for your journey directly with us once your booking is accepted. We are responsible for providing the journey, for driver and vehicle standards, and for compliance with our operator licence.
3. Estimated prices
All fares displayed are estimates only and may vary. They are indicative and do not constitute an offer or a guaranteed price. The final fare is set and confirmed by us and may change based on factors including availability, traffic conditions, route changes, waiting time, additional stops, passenger requirements, vehicle type and additional services requested.
4. Booking requests
Submitting a request through our platform does not create a confirmed booking — it is only an enquiry. A booking is only confirmed when we accept it and we agree with you on the journey details, availability and applicable price. We may decline or modify requests based on availability, pricing, location, vehicle type and operational circumstances.
5. Payments, refunds and cancellations
Payment for your journey is arranged directly with us and is not processed through this website. Any payment, refund, cancellation or pricing query should be raised directly with us, using the contact details confirmed with your booking.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information, including:
- Pickup location and destination
- Date and time
- Passenger numbers and luggage requirements
- Contact details
- Any special requirements
Incorrect or incomplete information may affect availability, pricing or successful completion of the requested journey. You are also responsible for reviewing and agreeing to final journey details with us, using the website lawfully, and not attempting to disrupt or misuse it.
7. Our licensing
We are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance, driver qualifications and vehicle standards in accordance with our operator licence and applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
The website, its content and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use the website for your personal, non-commercial purpose of getting an estimate and submitting a booking request.
9. Third-party services and links
Our platform may use third-party services, including mapping providers, email providers, analytics services and technology providers; these operate according to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for failures or interruptions caused by them. We are also not responsible for third-party websites linked from our platform.
10. Reviews and feedback
Any reviews, ratings or feedback submitted by users represent individual opinions and experiences. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content, and we may remove content that is offensive, illegal, misleading, irrelevant, or in violation of these Terms.
11. Website use
Users must not:
- Abuse the platform
- Submit false booking requests
- Attempt to damage website functionality
- Use the platform for unlawful purposes
We reserve the right to restrict access for users who misuse the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to submit a booking request through this website.
12. Limitation of liability
We provide your journey directly and are responsible for the acts and omissions of our drivers, for our vehicles, and for performing the journey with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the above, to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (such as traffic, weather, or third-party incidents). Fare estimates shown before booking are indicative only and do not create liability for any difference between the estimate and the confirmed final fare.
13. Availability
We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or suspend features at any time. Submitting a request does not guarantee that we will accept or fulfil it.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the website means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
